New York, New York

I am not sure who had more fun at the New York, New York arcade - the big kids or the little kids???

Chair for a King

Conner loved this chair in the casino of Mandalay Bay - it was made of paddle locks, license plates, and bottle caps.  He said it must be for a king.

After a week of being home, I am finally getting to post some pictures from Vegas.  That tells you how our week went...crazy!  Anyway, here we go - there are a million pictures, so I will let most of them speak for themselves and spare you the long commentary.

Off to Vegas Baby!

So, Great Grandma Flo is coming to town...sort of.  She hasn't left Hawaii in two years and now that she is feeling better she's head'n for the airport--we hope she can find it!!  And where is she off too, no other place then her mecca--VEGAS!!

Grandma and Grandpa Jones told us they were going to head down with Auntie Kim, Uncle Brian and Austin.  So we decided that we should pack up and head down to make it an impromptu  family reunion.  GG Flo hasn't seen the boys in two years and never met Allie so we figured it would be a good use of time.

Being the good Mormons that we are, we're planning on spending a lot of time hanging out at "the Beach," as they call it at Mandalay Bay--a huge wave pool with sand--and sipping lots of juice boxes.  The boy are super excited, as always, to see Grandma and Grandpa Jones.  Mom, Dad and Allison are looking forward to the trip too.  Dad's just not very stoked about driving for 10 hours!  Oh well, us parents will do anything in the name of FUN for our kid-o's right?!?!

Keep tuned in for Lindsay's play by play report once we get back!

Out of the House, Finally!

I realized Saturday morning that I had not left the house since I brought Allison home from the hospital.  As soon as Allison and I got home, Conner got sick, then Cayden got sick, then of course (despite our efforts to keep them apart and purell/sanitize everything), Allison got sick. We had not left the house in over five days.  Whew!  Talk about stir crazy!  (And, this does not even count the days we spent in the hospital!)  So, Cayden had been asking for a while, and I promised that we would go to Gyminikids today while Conner was at school.  This was the first time Allison was really able to crawl around and play by herself, and she had so much fun that she fell asleep after an hour, totally exhausted!

This is not the best picture of the kids, but it shows where Allison spent most of her time while Cayden rocked her around in circles - she loved it!
