Uh, remember the beautiful trees from the spring break pictures? Well, we lost one, and the swing set is off limits until further notice. Yikes! So glad we were inside!

Spring Break
We started Spring Break by watching the Boston Marathon. The kids loved watching the wheelchairs, and I am now contemplating running another one. Crazy, I know - but I have always wanted to do it again. Maybe next year.
This is how we spent the rest of our week. The weather was gorgeous. The trees were covered in blossoms (or, as Allie says "popcorn"), and we enjoyed every second.
Cayden and his friend Liberty figured out how to wind up the rings, and spin until they were dizzy.
Allison LOVES the monkey bars! I know, she is barely TWO YEARS OLD, but she is better than the boys. She climbs to the top, waits for me to come over, and then goes for it. She can go two or three bars with me holding her legs. Crazy! I think I may have an ER trip in the near future. I am just grateful she waits for me to come over before she leaps off.
Cayden has a pet worm, named "wormy" of course. He lives in our red wagon. Cayden was so excited to find out that his friend Abby likes worms, because other girls that have played at our house wanted nothing to do with wormy - mom included.

April Fools!
The kids were not sure what to think when I told them we were having cupcakes for dinner! Cayden refused to take a bite at first, Conner devoured his and only paused a second when he realized it was not a cupcake, and Allie looked at it for a while before deciding to eat any. In the end, they were delicious. Conner, Cayden ad Keir have all requested to have them again.
Our April Fools cupcakes were in fact my version of meatloaf in a muffin tin with colored mashed potato frosting. It would have looked better to cook them in foil cupcake liners, but I did not have any.
Pig Tails
Allison's hair is now long enough (with the help of gel and hair spray) to have pig tails! I love them, and especially love that her hair is not hanging down in her face. I was amazed that these piggies lasted all day.
Also, completely unrelated to the pig tails, although they are still pictured . . . While waiting for me to get her a milk, she discovered that sucking on the lid of her cup made a funny noise. She was hysterical, and ended up not wanting the milk anymore because it would have meant giving the lid back to me.
