Then, I thought the drive would never end. We planned to drive halfway, spend the night and then finish the drive in the morning. However, the FOUR towns we tried to stop at were completely booked, NO vacancy, not a single room anywhere! A Monday night, in the middle of nowhere??? What? So we kept driving. Keir and I switched off about every three hours, but by the end we were so completely exhausted, we were having to switch every 45 minutes to stay awake. Once the sun came up and the kids were awake, it was easier to stay awake, but by then we were surely not going to stop - because, they were now awake, and getting a room to sleep in would be pointless with three awake children. We made it. Safely. We left Colorado at 5 pm, and pulled up at Tiffany's house around 10 am. 17 hours, with three kids, and because of the packing/loading/cleaning we did not have much sleep prior to the long drive. Here is a picture of Allie after the drive - you really don't want to see pictures of the rest of us.

It was sooo much fun to have you stay with us!! Thanks for making Texas ON YOUR WAY to Boston!! Thanks a million times! I SOO WISH that we could live closer... someday!
What the heck! If Texas is on the way back east, how about UTAH?
