This morning, I had an extra 20 minutes when I realized it was NOT my day to pick up Conner form preschool. So, I took a shower, and blew my hair dry. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is for me. If I do not get out of bed at 5:30/6:00, and get a shower BEFORE my kids wake up, it just might not happen that day. Anyway, after I finished getting ready, Cayden looked at me and was very quiet for a few seconds, and then said, "mom, you are gorgeously pretty!" I just about cried. Then a few seconds later, "are you finished getting pretty? I want to go to Charlie's house, now."

Funny Stuff
Yesterday was a fun family, lazy day. We stayed home, watched conference, and just spent time together. Around dinner time, Conner paused, looked at me and said, very confused, "mom, why are you in your pajamas still?" He has recently started to get his own clothes out in the morning and get dressed ALL BY HIMSELF! It is so exciting - even if he does not match at all, is wearing shorts in the snow, and breaks the hangers trying to pull his shirts down from the top closet rod. He is so proud of himself! Now, we just need to move his clothes so he can reach them without breaking the hangers.

That is so funny. At least he noticed that you actually can look nice if you're given the time!
love it! In the rare moments I actually put make-up on Ashley always asks me why and wants some on too so we can both be princesses.
